Provenance & Research

Our team researches medal groups before each sale, identifying recipients where possible. Named medals with provenance command a significant premium at auction. If you have a collection to sell, our specialists can help attribute your items and maximise their value.

Are edged weapons legal to sell at auction?
Yes. Antique edged weapons (manufactured before 1954 in most cases) are legal to sell and purchase in the UK. We comply with all relevant legislation and include appropriate descriptions in all our lot listings.
Do you take single medals or only groups?
We accept both. Single campaign medals and rare decorations can achieve excellent prices. Named medal groups with accompanying ephemera tend to sell particularly well.
