Is it free to register and bid?
Yes — your BidSpirit account is completely free. No deposit, no obligation. You only pay for lots you win.
Can I bid online if I cannot attend in person?
Absolutely. All of our fortnightly sales are fully live-streamed via BidSpirit. Bid in real-time from any device, anywhere in the world.
What is a buyer's premium?
A buyer's premium is a percentage added to the hammer price. Clumber's rate is 15% + VAT. So a £100 lot = £118 total (£100 + £15 premium + £3 VAT).
Do you offer UK-wide shipping?
Yes. We work with specialist art and antiques couriers for safe delivery nationwide. Contact us after your purchase for a quote.
How do I view items before the auction?
Viewing days are held before every sale — usually the day before, 10am–4pm. No appointment needed. Contact us for specific viewing dates.
How do I pay for lots I have won?
Payment is due within 5 working days by bank transfer, card, or cash. Items are released after cleared payment.
