Why Buy Jewellery at Auction?

Auctions remain the most cost-effective way to buy quality gold and silver jewellery in the UK. Pieces are priced by the market, not by a retailer’s margin. Every piece in our sales is inspected by our specialist team, with hallmarks verified and metals tested where appropriate.

Buyer’s Premium: 15% + VAT — All lots are subject to our standard 15% buyer’s premium plus VAT. There are no further hidden charges.
Are all gold items hallmarked?
All items are described to the best of our ability. Where hallmarks are present, they are noted. Items described as 9ct gold have been tested or clearly stamped. We always recommend in-person viewing of jewellery lots if possible.
Can I view jewellery before bidding?
Yes — we hold viewing days before every sale. Jewellery can be examined under magnification by appointment. Contact us to arrange a viewing.
